Community Nutrition Programs promote healthy eating habits for pregnant women, new moms, infants, children, and seniors. Services are provided at several locations throughout Pima County.
Food Plus or CSFP ProgramFOOD Plus is the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) funded through the USDA that provides eligible participants with a food package rich in protein, calcium, iron and Vitamins A & C.
Who Qualifies? Seniors 60 and older can qualify for the food packages.
AZ Farmer's Market Nutrition Program
Arizona Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program provides coupons that can be used to buy fresh, unprepared fruits and vegetables from State-approved farmers, farmer’s markets and roadside stands. Women and children that have been certified to receive WIC services and seniors that have been certified to receive Food Plus / CSFP services.

Healthy Children ProgramA team of community health workers that provide education, support, and advocacy services to pregnant and postpartum women and their families. Health Start is funded through the Arizona Department of Health Services and is provided at no charge for eligible families.
